RIChris: Obama selling his country? You're deluded. If anyone has sold out their country, it is McCain. He's gone right along with the other powers that be selling chunks of the U.S. off to lobbyists, special interest groups, monster corporations, and foreign countries. I read a recent article that stated most blue-collared workers were out of work because of technological advances, but is should have said because ALL of those blue-collared businesses went overseas to get HUGE tax breaks and cheap labor handed to them by the Republicans. THIS is what Obama wants to change - bringing American jobs BACK to America. As for the war, Obama wanted us out because it was TIME to get out AND if you've noticed, suddenly "progress" is being made for a "timely withdrawl." Amazing the timing of that, huh? Right before the election. Bush's timing is merely coincidental, right? Let's face it, with Obama and Biden in office - America will finally get a chance to begin healing the wounds Bush and his "pals," one being McCain, have caused us.

Re: RIChris,

Sell out his country? Give me a break.

Biden has been an effective senator for 30 years. His wife and family were killed in a car accident when he was a young man yet he kept on going to become one of the most respected statesman in the country, traveling home from Washington to Delaware almost every day during his career to be with his children.

As for McCain, he cheated on his wife with several other women during his first marriage - talk about a difference in personal character.

Biden - An OLDER man with EXPERIENCE who does not think Obama has what it takes to be president, but who is willing to sell out his country for a spot at the top.

McCain - An OLDER man with EXPERIENCE who does not think Obama has what it takes to be president, but who will put his country first.

Great choice and what a relief! I have been watching, and listening, to Joe Biden on "Meet the Press" and other venues, for several years. He strikes me as being very thoughtful, intelligent and wise. He is a man of the people! He has also been very outspoken in regards to the entrenched lobbyists and other power brokers in Washington. Now that the selection process is over, I feel that he is a perfect choice to fill out Obama's dream to make some changes, in Washington, and set this country on the right course. Let the rumpus begin!

WOW - I am thrilled with Obama's choice. I was hoping he'd go with Biden! May God bless them both and move them toward the White House. America may actually have a chance at recovery. It is TIME for a new political force! As for you, Some Guy, I feel sorry for you - you've no hope for the future.

Very happy. Out of all the presidential candidates--of either party--running this cycle, Joe Biden is the most knowledgeable and impressive.

Mediocre party hack? Yeah right.

You're kidding, right? You're actually happy about Obama choosing the most utterly mediocre party hack he could find?
