Polygamists Remix

It’s our ranch and it’s our home

The Art of Bleeding has released their take on the most recent polyamist ranch investigation. As described on their website:

Something a little different for Art of Bleeding, outreach to a fellow cult, a Mormon mash-up. Polygamists never get a fair shake. Mainstream breakfast-hour news gets regurgitated. There’s room for everybody in this compound! Have a look.

Watch for yourself.

HuffPost Disses Pro-Hillary White Men

huff.jpg

A picture is worth a thousand words

On the day Sen. Hillary Clinton won the Pennsylvania primary, Thomas B. Edsall, the political editor Huffington Post, wrote an article on the emergence of white men as a crucial voting block in the 2008 presidential election. How did the Pro-Obama website depict this voting block? Just look above.

Now perhaps it doesn’t mean anything, but it certainly seems to play into the elitist argument some have begun to making against the Illinois senator, compounding Obama’s controversial quote in San Francisco:

“You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton Administration, and the Bush Administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not.”

“And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”

I love the Huffington Post (*hugs*), but images like these don’t help.

Political Quote of the Day 4/22/08

“He has outspent her in Ohio, Texas, and Pennsylvania, and she has won every one.”
-Pat Buchanan on MSNBC commenting on Obama’s campaign spending and Clinton’s PA primary win.

Political Quote of the Day 4/21/08

“If we were under the Republican system, which is more like the Electoral College, she’d have a 300-delegate lead here.”
– Bill Clinton, stating that Hillary Clinton would be the nominee if Democrats followed Republican primary rules. -Washington Post

Obama Flips Off Clinton? Oh My.

obamagesture.jpg

Bird is the word

The art of sublty is not lost on Senator Barack Obama, but perhaps he has overplayed his hand.

From the Swamp:

Sen. Barack Obama was on the stump today in Raleigh, N.C., the day after his debate in Philadelphia with Sen. Hillary Clinton. Have a look at his body language when he spoke of the sort of debate it was — a “gotcha” fest — and about Clinton being “in her element.”“Last night, Sen. Clinton and I had our 21st debate of the year,” Obama said today. “Last night, I think we set a new record, because it took us 45 minutes before we even started talking about a single issue that matters to the American people.

“I don’t blame Washington for this, because that’s just how Washington is,” he said. “They like stirring up controversy. They like playing gotcha games… .. and I would say Sen. Clinton was in her element.”

And that’s the part of the videotape, courtesy of Fox News, where viewers need to pay some attention to the hand that Obama raised to his face, and the finger with which he scratched it.

You decide

From American Thinker:

Note the reaction of the crowd to Obama’s gesture. They appeared to know exactly what the candidate was doing and approved.

Obama is spinning his halting performance in the debate as the fault of “Washington” or the press. That’s because they didn’t ask the questions he wanted to answer - a curious complaint but one that his supporters are buying willingly.

Not to worry, Barack. I’m sure the Republicans will bring up everything ABC was smart enough to ask you during the general election campaign. Then you will be able to abandon the pretense that you are a gentleman and flip the bird to John McCain all you wish.
