Still looking for a real Republican for 2008? Try none other than former Congresswoman Katherine Harris.
Despite repeated claims he has no interest on entering the 2008 presidential campaign, former vice president Al Gore has gravitated a strong following culminating in the Draft Gore movement. While there is a widely held belief that Democratic primary voters are comfortable with their choices of presidential candidates, many Gore supporters are urging the former veep and environmental activist to mount another White House run.
Those twisted parallel universes are at it again.
In the faux-political evil twin universe (conveniently located on the internet), Democrats have created a mock Draft Katherine Harris website with suspicious parallels to Draft Gore (we love this stuff). The similar website font is just the beginning. With mock videos supporting Harris for President, Barely Political’s Obama Girl just got some faux-political company.

For Democrats, making fun of a Republican like Harris is almost too easy. Ever since her role in Florida’s 2000 presidential election fraud, Harris has been an easy target. Real easy. Dan Quayle easy.

So perk up undecided Republicans and watch your back Al Gore, if the frozen smile of Katherine Harris can survive being shunned by her own party, a fake presidential draft, and an attack from a rabid possum, Democrats haven’t got a chance.
