Tucker Carlson: Stop Pretending to Love Ron Paul

Posers for Paul?

On the Oct. 12, 2007 episode of Real Time with Bill Maher, MSNBC conservative commentator Tucker Carlson claimed to be a real Rep. Ron Paul for President supporter, compared to a bunch of pretenders who don’t really believe what Ron Paul believes. Watch for yourself.

Real Time with Bill Maher, Oct. 12, 2007

Carlson: And let me just say about Ron Paul by the way: Everybody loves Ron Paul, it’s fashionable to love Ron Paul. I voted for the guy in ‘88, I’m a true Ron Paul man. If you knew what he really thought, like eliminating the department of Education, I mean, the liberals who love him would hate him, actually.

Maher: There are things about him that I do not agree with.

Carlson: I do, I agree with him…He’s a radical.
