Bill O’Reilly Surprised Black People are Civilized

O’Reilly blinded by black civility
“There wasn’t one person in Sylvia’s who was screaming, ‘M-Fer, I want more iced tea.”
On his September 19, 2007 radio program, conservative Fox News commentator Bill O’Reilly reported that he and Al Sharpton recently broke bread together at Sylvia’s Restaurant in Harlem.
I think black Americans are starting to think more and more for themselves. They’re getting away from the Sharptons and the Jacksons and the people trying to lead them into a race-based culture…
…And we went to Sylvia’s, a very famous restaurant in Harlem. I had a great time, and all the people up there are tremendously respectful. They all watch The Factor. You know, when Sharpton and I walked in, it was like a big commotion and everything, but everybody was very nice. And I couldn’t get over the fact that there was no difference between Sylvia’s restaurant and any other restaurant in New York City. I mean, it was exactly the same, even though it’s run by blacks, primarily black patronship.
On top of the absurd notion that “They all watch The Factor“, O’Reilly spoke with Juan Williams later on in the show, spouting, “There wasn’t one person in Sylvia’s who was screaming, ‘M-Fer, I want more iced tea.’ ”

Air America’s take on Sylvia’s and other O’Reilly comments
O’Reilly has defended his remarks by suggesting he was trying to make an anti-racist comment, teaching his listeners that black people are just like other people. The fact that he felt like he had to explain that in the first place is dumbfounding and pitiful, and the way he tried to explain it was tainted with old fashioned racist innuendos.
Mr. O’Reilly needs to experience the world a bit more, and it appears he needs some help:

Stumble it!

Bill O’Reilly was downright condescending in his overtly racist remarks! O’Reilly’s pathetic, disgusting comment require protest every bit as much, if not more so, as Don Imus’ stupid remarks did!
