re: libertarian

That's just crazy. I saw a Ron Paul video quoting Mahatma Gandhi recently, stating:

First they ignore you,

Then they ridicule you,

Then they fight you, <-- Where Ron Paul is now

Then you win.

If he was annoyed before, he should love the fact that this article about Sean Hannity Forum Bans Ron Paul Discussion

I have been watching politics for a long time, and there are very few candidates like Ron Paul who continue to gain support after thorough debate and scrutinizing their voting record.

I've been scanning the internet to determine the results of the paper ballot to no avail. If I find them I'll post it here. If anyone else finds the results, please post.

Thank you!

Good meeting you Scott.

I heard a paper ballot was taken of those who attended the Dearborn Debate. Have the results been made public? What are they?

I agree iwth all that you say about Ron Paul, but I disagree on Hagel's dropping out hurtting Paul's chances. I think this will improve Paul's chances, for the same reasons that Alan Keyes, and Fred Thompson's entry have improved Dr. Paul's chances.

Suppose there is a socially conservative, anti-war Republican who disagrees with Ron Paul on the Fed and the gold standard. We will give the benefit of the doubt and assume that it is an honest disagreement, not just a cynical move of said voter due to his profiting from the Federal Reserve system.

Whereas this voter might have withheld support from Ron Paul as long as he could reasonablly have hoped Chuck Hagel would be entering soon, now he must face reality and support Paul, despite his misgivings about the wisdom of a fixed standard on which to base our monetary system.

In the same way, Alan Keyes and Fred Thompson, both globalist warmongers, will drain support from the other globalist warmongers who are inconsistent or have a "Weirdness Factor" to contend with.
