Sen. Larry Craig Defends Sexual Behavior *Again*

Republican Sen. Larry Craig defending himself in ‘82 & ‘07
Hat Tip: El Borak’s Myopia
“I am not gay. I never have been gay”
Republican Idaho Senator Larry Craig is under political fire after his arrest in a Minneapolis airport restroom. An undercover police officer cited the jet setter for engaging in actions “often used by persons communicating a desire to engage in sexual conduct.”
Pleading guilty to a disorderly conduct charge, Craig hoped the incident would be flushed down the (airport) toilet.
“I did nothing wrong at the Minneapolis airport,” he stated at a news conference. Why he would plead guilty if he did nothing wrong is mind-bending.
Listen to the police tape if you want to feel uncomfortable.
What irks many about this incident is not Craig’s sexual orientation, it’s that he appears to be lying and reeking of hypocrisy.
Sen. Craig voted for a constitutional ban of same-sex marriage, against adding sexual orientation as a basis for hate crimes, and against prohibiting job discrimination by sexual orientation; Therein lies the rub.
While his votes are myopic and disgusting in their own right, this is not the first time the Senator has publicly defending himself against charges of homosexuality and illegal behavior:
“Persons who are unmarried such as I am by choice or by circumstance have always been the subject of innuendos, gossip, and false accusations. I think this is despicable.” -Rep. Craig in 1982

The poor choices made by our Representatives has risen to a level beyond ridiculousness. We are not concerned with your bedroom habits, Senator, but we do care if your public statements are honest.
Republican Scandal Total: oh who knows anymore…and counting.
