Another presidential candidate gets a girl

The ‘Candidate Girl’ video saga has officially collapsed.

In a post entitled Democrats Corner the “Hottie” Market I suggested that after the media success of I Got a Crush…On Obama and Hott 4 Hill, that former Sen. John Edwards would be next on the list to receive a melodic siren supporter.

Rudy Giuliani ended up being the next recipient, followed by Obama Girl taking on Giuliani Girl in a video match up.

But now, sadly, for those political geeks enduring a midlife crisis, Sen. Sam Brownback’s faux-girl has spoiled all the fun. Political music video has descended sharply from fun, to mimicked, to goofy, to parody.

Ah, the sad to end to a short, nascent, silly era of presidential politics. Here it is, folks:
