New Hampshire GOP holds machine gun ‘fun’draiser

Trailing Democrats in annual fundraising, NPR reports that Republicans in Manchester, New Hampshire are holding a Machine Gun Shoot, luring supporters to a fundraiser by allowing them to fire automatic weapons.

“For $25 supporters can fire a variety of automatic and semi-automatic weapons favored by the military. Ammunition costs extra. And it’s more than a fundraiser, as one organizer describes it: It’s a fun day, a family day.”
